In the course of the meeting with the Dnepropetrovsk region's management, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko introduced the new Head of the Regional State Administration (RSA) Valentyn Reznichenko, Thursday. Reznichenko had previously worked as the Head of the Zaporizhskaya RSA.
Poroshenko stated that the entire of Ukraine is united as it has never been before and that Dnepropetrovsk region "was, is and will be" an outpost of the Ukrainian community. He emphasised that another important task was to struggle against corruption.
The Ukrainian president expressed his hope that Igor Kolomoyskyi, the Head of the Dnepropetrovsk RSA until now, would firmly stand on a pro-European-Ukrainian position after returning to business or civic activity.
In the course of his visit, Poroshenko also laid flowers to the memorial stone for the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred located in the park near the building of Dnepropetrovsk RSA.
