
Germany: Families of crash victims arrive in Dusseldorf to depart for crash site
Relatives of the 144 passengers who died in Tuesday's Germanwings Airbus A320 plane crash that went down between Digne and Barcelonnette in Southern France, en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf arrived at Dusseldorf Airport, Thursday before leaving for the crash site. Up to 150 relatives of the deceased are being transported to the site on a specially arranged Airbus A321-200 plane, operated by Lufthansa, the parent company of Germanwings. An aircraft is also being provided for crew members and families of the 6 crew who also died on board the plane.
