
Spain: School mourns 16 German exchange students who died in A320 crash
The Giola de Llinars del Valles school near Barcelona, where 16 German students attended as part of their foreign exchange, held a memorial service, Wednesday, to pay their respects to the students and others who were onboard the Germanwings flight 4U9525 that crashed in the Alps on Tuesday.
Flight 4U 9525 crashed into a mountainside while flying from Barcelona to Dusseldorf with 144 passengers and six crew members on board, on Tuesday March 24. It is believed that there are no survivors.
A black box flight recorder has been recovered from the crash site and will be examined as soon as possible, the French Interior Ministry has said.
