
France: Village close to Germanwings 4U9525 crash site secured
French emergency services reached the village of La Javie, Tuesday, close to the crash site of Seyne Les Alpes where Germanwings flight 4U9525 crashed killing all 150 on board. The village is secured, with members of the public being refused entry.
The Airbus 320 went down between Digne and Barcelonnette in Southern France en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf.
144 passengers, two pilots and four cabin crew members were on board the plane when it crashed, all of whom are believed to have died in the crash.
