      Spain: Family friends of Germanwings 4U9525 passengers arrive at Barcelona airport

      Families and friends of the passengers of the crashed 4U9525 flight arrived at Barcelona El Prat Airport, Tuesday.

      The airbus 320 went down between Digne and Barcelonnette in Southern France en route from Barcelona to Duesseldorf. 144 passengers, including two infants and 16 students, and 6 crew members were on board the plane when it crashed. All passengers are believed to have died in the crash.

      The plane lost contact at 10:53 local time when it was 6000ft in the air, after having descended for eight minutes. The descent remains currently unexplained and it is not clear if a distress call was issued.

      Families and friends of the passengers of the crashed 4U9525 flight arrived at Barcelona El Prat Airport, Tuesday.
