UK: CCTV captures shocking sexual assault on teen

CCTV footage released Friday by West Yorkshire Police shows the moment an 18-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man. The attack happened at around 22.50 (GMT) on March 6, when the girl was waiting at a bus stop in Beeston Road, Leeds.

According to the police, "she was dragged from the bus stop into a nearby garden and struck over the head numerous times with a large stone before being seriously sexually assaulted. She received serious head injuries and a fractured hip."

The CCTV video was released with the consent of the victim and her family, in the hope that it will help to identify the suspect. The most graphic scenes, which showed the victim being forced behind a hedge, were removed from the video.
