Netherlands: This is HUGE! Drone captures world's first hybrid megayacht
Savannah, the world's first hybrid megayacht, was seen passing through the town of Alphen on a branch of the Rhine on Thursday.
The luxury boat from Netherlands-based company Feadship was launched in January 2015 and is the first fully functional hybrid megayacht ever made. It took more than 1,000 people working for four years to create and build the Savannah.
The 273-foot (83 metre) ship has unique features such as an underwater viewing lounge, a 29-foot (9 metre) deck-level pool, a cinema and a hybrid diesel-electric powertrain.
Hundreds of people lined in the streets to watch the megayacht being steered with precision through the bridges, which had extended opening times in order to let the yacht through.
