      Switzerland: McLaren introduces its track-only P1 GTR hypercar

      McLaren showed off its hardcore, track-ready P1 GTR at the 85th Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday.

      The P1 GTR is equipped with a 3.8 litre V8 and an electric motor together producing 987 horsepower. The GTR lost 50kg of weight compared to its road-version P1 with the combined package of hybrid engine and reduced weight producing 10 percent more downforce.

      McLaren's exclusive P1 GTR will exclusively offered to existing P1 owners at a price of $3.04 million (€2.72 million).
