Iceland: Lego help autistic boy build SUPER LARGE Titanic replica
Eleven-year-old Brynjar Karl showed off his lego replica of the Titanic in Smaralind on Monday. Karl suffers from autism and got in contact with Lego, via social media, in a bid to achieve his dream of building the replica of the famous ship.
The 56,000 Lego-brick-ship is 6.3 metres (19 feet) in length and cost €3,500 ($3,977) to build. Legoland in Denmark supported Karl's project after he made a Youtube video expressing his passion for building bricks and asked Legoland for direct assistance.
Karil has 5,000 more bricks to go and is expected to complete the ship in two to three months. After completion, Karl hopes to display the finished product in a museum or create his own "Lego Iceland."
