
UN: "Yemen is collapsing before our eyes" - Ban Ki-moon
The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told the Security Council "Yemen is collapsing before our eyes. We cannot stand by and watch," during a meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Friday.
The Secretary-General said that a "dangerous political crisis continues in Sana'a" and that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and government ministers and other state officials "must be granted freedom of movement."
