German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport, Friday for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

French President Francois Hollande is also expected to be present at the meeting, and is due to arrive in the Russian capital later on Friday.

The European leaders are travelling to Moscow to discuss the Ukrainian conflict with the Russian president, after meeting on Thursday evening with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev.
