Germany: FM Varoufakis: 'We didn't reach an agreement, we didn't even agree to disagree'
The respective foreign ministers of Germany and Greece, Wolfgang Schauble and Yanis Varoufakis met and spoke at a press conference in Berlin on Thursday.
Varoufakis stated that he and his counterpart "didn't reach an agreement" or "even agree to disagree" from the Greek government's standpoint. However, he also said that "it was never on the cards" that an agreement would be reached.
Varoufakis did point out that positive discussions occurred with regard to agreeing "to enter into deliberations as partners with a joint orientation," in a bid to help solve the current "never ending" crisis in Europe that "began in Greece."
