
France: 'Russia's involvement in PACE is crucial' - Belgian FM Reynders
Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders opened the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg on Monday.
He spoke about the current situation in eastern Ukraine, where violence escalated again over the weekend. Reynders described the situation as "worrying" and reinforced the importance of all sides "fully and faithfully implementing the Minsk memorandum and the follow-up protocol."
He also said that in the "context of PACE" Russia's involvement is of the "utmost importance."
