      Colombia: Is this the world's SEXIEST thief? 'Yayita' arrested in Bogota

      Footage released by Bogota Metropolitan Police Wednesday shows the detention of Andrea Johanna Torres in Bogota.

      Torres, 28, using the alias 'Yayita' is said to have committed around 300 thefts by using her attractive physique to distract security guards at homes throughout Bogota while members of her entourage enter the buildings and carry out the thefts.

      She has been wanted by the police for around six months after they discovered that she was the leader of a gang of thieves using seduction techniques. Items believed to have been stolen include jewellery and electronic appliances.

      Bogota Police Chief Humberto Guatibonza announced on Tuesday that Torres had been arrested in Bogota in possession of false documents, believed to have been on her person to help her to flee to Germany. Subsequently, Torres faces charges for theft and criminal conspiracy.
