Japan: Watch 100 mini breakdancing robots perform flawless routine
One hundred humanoid robots performed a syncronised dance routine in Tokyo, Monday, as part of the '100 Robi' project, the brainchild of Tomotaka Takahashi of Kyoto University.
The '100 Robi' synchronised dance lasted three minutes and went perfectly. Each 'Robi' weighs just one kilogram (2.2 Lbs) and stands 35 cm tall (1.1 ft).
Takahashi's challenge was to design a robot which could be produced in large numbers and at a relatively low cost. Each 'Robi' robot costs around $1,500 (€1,300).
