Mexico: Did this man murder the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students?
Armed security forces detained Felipe Rodriguez of organised crime organisation Guerreros Unidos in Morelos, Thursday. Rodriguez stands accused of being responsible for the murder of the 43 Ayotzinapa students killed in Iguala in September, 2014.
Prosecutors believe Rodriguez, also known as 'El Cepillo,' gave orders to not only kill the students but also to burn their bodies and any evidence potentially incriminating the gang. Almost 100 individuals have now been arrested in relation to the incident, which has sparked months of protest and popular demands for the Mexican military to be investigated.
