
Belgium: Two dead in Verviers anti-terror raid
Police were still surrounding a building in Verviers' Rue de la Colline early Friday, after two people were killed and another injured in an anti-terror operation.
Suspects in the building reportedly opened fire with automatic weapons on police during as they raided the area near the town's train station, with police returning fire. Residents also said they heard several explosions.
Police claim the suspects were preparing a 'major attack' after returning from Syria.
