      A pilot battled with extreme winds on Thursday while attempting to safely land a Dash 8 Q200 plane on Flores Island in the Azores, Portugal. Despite treacherous weather conditions, the pilot was able to safely land the plane.

      The plane was part of the Sociedade Acoriana de Transportes Aereos (SATA) International fleet which operates out of Sao Sebastiao, Ponta Delgada in the Azores, Portugal.

      A pilot battled with extreme winds on Thursday while attempting to safely land a Dash 8 Q200 plane on Flores Island in the Azores, Portugal. Despite treacherous weather conditions, the pilot was able to safely land the plane.
