France: Thousands pour into Paris for Charlie Hebdo rally
Thousands of demonstrators poured into Place de la Republique in central Paris on Sunday, to take part in a Unity March to pay tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attacks. More than 40 world leaders are also expected to join the march, which runs along a three kilometre (1.8 miles) stretch, from Place de la Republique to Place de la Nation.
The rally comes following three days of deadly attacks, which began after gunmen stormed the HQ of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris on Wednesday, leaving 12 people dead. A police woman was killed on Thursday and four people were shot dead in a kosher grocery store on Friday in connection with the attack.
