
Indonesia: New supplies boost Russian divers' AirAsia search
The Indonesian Air Force delivered additional equipment to Russian diving crews scanning the Java Sea for debris from the AirAsia flight QZ8501 on Wednesday.
Assisted by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), a helicopter from the 6th regiment of the Indonesian Air Force took off from the Iskandar Airport in Pangkalan Bun carrying supplies to Russian divers based on the Crest Onyx, an Indonesian ship.
Russian diving crews have been conducting exploratory work in the Java Sea from the Indonesian vessel for five days.
The plane went missing en route from Surabaya, Indonesia, to Singapore on December 28.
No survivors have been found.
