USA: Protests greet Mexican President Pena Nieto's DC visit
Around 100 people gathered at Lafayette Park in Washington D.C. Tuesday in order to protest against Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto's visit to the White House.
Carrying banners and photographs of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa, the group chanted slogans as they expressed fury over the case and claimed the government is concealing information. The protesters were also critical of the U.S-led 'War on Drugs,' arguing it has been a complete failure.
Police tried to disperse the protest but several activists refused to leave as they held a sit-in. Similar protests happened in 20 other U.S. cities.
