Space: ISS cosmonauts get in the Christmas spirit
Russian cosmonauts Elena Serova, Anton Shkaplerov and Alexander Samokutyaev were getting ready to celebrate the festive season on the International Space Station (ISS), Wednesday.
They recorded a video message to send to earth about how they have black caviar and fruit to help them enjoy the festivities. The cosmonauts displayed part of the ISS decked out with a Christmas tree, decorations and tinsel while the crew also showed off the stockings they will fill with presents.
Alexander Serova and Elena Samokutyaev travelled to the ISS on September 26 with Anton Shkaplerov joining them on November 24. They will perform over 50 experiments and remove old equipment during spacewalks.
