Cooperation with the EU is key, said Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang during a meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic in Belgrade on Thursday.
The Chinese Prime Ministet also said the China had "a long way to go" in terms of modernisation, adding that the country's cooperation with European countries is also helpful for EU integration.
In the afternoon, the Chinese Prime Minister will open a bridge funded and built by China, Pupin's Bridge (Serbian: Pupinov most), and become an honorary citizen of Belgrade. Keqiang is due to leave Belgrade at 5pm CET (1600 GMT).
