France: "EU commission has no right to vote on Palestine," says Farage
UKIP leader Nigel Farage dismissed the European Parliament's adoption of a resolution recognising Palestinian statehood "in principle" when speaking in Strasbourg, Wednesday. A total of 498 MEPs voted in favor of the motion, with 88 voting against.
According to Farage, the "European Commission does not have the ability, the power or the right to recognise new member states" and asked that the vote be "striked out."
