Regional department of EMERCOM in the Sakha Republic has called on passengers to read flight updates online before travelling to the airport. Acting Head of Sakha Republic's EMERCOM's Crisis Management Center Col. Said Aseydulin said that EMERCOM's resources were prepared for any weather-induced emergencies at the airport.
Weather forecasters report that extreme frost in the region will continue until the end of the year.
