Russia: Hollande meets Putin in impromptu visit to discuss Ukraine
French President Francois Hollande said that Russia and Europe will manage to get rid of all barriers during an impromptu visit to the Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Saturday.
Hollande decided to make an unscheduled stop in Moscow to continue talks about the Ukraine crisis, and stopped by to meet Putin at Moscow's Vnukovo airport, via his travels from Kazakhstan to France. The French President reiterated the importance of the dialogue between the two countries adding he believes they “need to find solutions together [and] work hand in hand.” Putin seemed to share Hollande’s opinion, saying their discussion had a positive result and the impromptu meeting “will benefit the resolution of many problems.”
Hollande arrived to meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Kazakhstan on December 5th. Among other events, the two presidents signed a series of agreements in the educational field.
