USA: Ferguson protesters strike National Guard Humvee
A metal object was thrown at a Missouri National Guard Humvee Tuesday evening in Ferguson after protesters, upset about a grand jury's decision not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of unarmed African-American teenager Michael Brown, clashed with police in anti-riot armour and National Guard troops for a second night.
Earlier in the day, hundreds of protesters blocked parts of the Interstate 44 highway near the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis, and were pepper-sprayed by police. The decision not to indict Wilson sparked clashes Monday evening in Ferguson, with police and National Guard troops deploying tear gas against protesters.
