Norwegian politician Lise-Marie Sommerstad bore herself both politically and physically on Sunday, giving press an inside look at her favourite past-time - nude modelling.
Before taking to photo studio, the 23-year-old fetishist-cum-politician could be seen speaking at the Centre Youth National Convention 2014 just outside Oslo, Friday. She confessed that while she hoped to join the Norwegian national government, she would be focusing on local politics for the meantime.
After slipping into something more comfortable, Sommerstad joined Norwegian photographer Jon Klasbu in the southern town of Horton to enjoy her saucy pastime. Posing nude with a white sheet, Sommerstad revealed all for the camera, stating she enjoyed using the human body to create "beautiful artistry".
Sommerstad began posing for nude and fetish photographs at the age of 19 and has continued to engage in the hobby after moving into politics. At first, an active member in the youth wing of the Norwegian Centre Party (SP), Sommerstad grew up in politics, her father representing the Centre Party as the mayor of Andenbu. Her political career snowballed after being nominated for the Centre Party for the county council elections in Vestfold.
While critics have accused her of using the nude photographs to drum up media attention, the politician stated that she has never used her racy shots to advance her career.
