
Mexico: Rioters set cars alight and loot in Guadalajara
Riots broke out near the San Juan de Dios market Saturday in the Mexican city of Guadalajara, where people destroyed a municipal police motorcycle and a pickup truck and car belonging to the Millennium television network in response to an operation by Jalisco State Police to confiscate pirated goods. At least four people were arrested. The crowd also looted and vandalised several shops near the San Juan de Dios market, including a Oxxo store.
