      UK: Anti-IS demo dominates Trafalgar Square

      A Global Action Day against the self proclaimed Islamic State (formerly ISIS, ISIL) took place at London's iconic Trafalgar Square on Saturday, with hundreds of Kurdish solidarity supporters flocking to the area to show support for the fight against the self proclaimed Islamic State in Kobane.

      Organised by the activist group Peace in Kurdistan and the Kurdish People's Assembly, members of the Kurdish Cultural Centre were also in attendance.
