
Ukraine: "Donbass voting for peace!" Polling stations geared for ballot
Preparations for Sunday's elections for the People's Council of DPR and LPR kicked off in Donetsk on Saturday.
Rooms for the electoral commission at polling station No. 125 in School No. 1 were selected and prepared, ballot boxes installed and voting cabins set up. Chairman of No. 125 polling station, Dmitry Kirichenko, said that the school's graduates were hopeful for a peaceful end to the Ukraine conflict.
On Sunday, November 2 voting between the 'Free Donbass' and the 'Republic of Donetsk' parties will take place across 377 polling stations in Donetsk, and 95 polling stations in Lugansk. Russian and foreign electoral observers will monitor the course of elections.
