Russia: "The Russian bear asks NOBODY for permission," warns Putin
The Russian bear does not ask anyone for permission and will never give up his territory and move to more "uncomfortable" climatic zones, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while speaking at the 11th Annual Valdai International Discussion Club in Sochi, Friday.
The Russian leader expressed his disregard for the old Latin saying, “quod licet Jovi, non licet bovi” (what is allowed to Jove is not allowed to an ox),reaffirming his conviction that the current Ukrainian government in Kiev was brought to power by an “armed coup.”
Meeting under the title "The World Order: New Rules or No Rules?", this year's meeting brings together some 108 experts and analysts from both Russia and across the globe. First Vice-Premier Igor Shuvalov is also attending Friday's meeting.
