The lawyer for the driver of the snow-plough involved in the fatal plane crash at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport denied his client was drunk, in Moscow on Wednesday.
Alexander Karabanov said that driver Vladimir Martinenko was examined by doctors and only took heart disease medicine but that would not have affected him. Karabanov described how Martinenko’s movements were governed by the dispatcher and demanded to know why their name remains unknown.
The Falcon-55 jet crashed at Vnukovo International Airport just before midnight on Monday claiming the lives of four people including the boss of French multinational oil company Total Christophe de Margerie.
