
Russia: "We don't want sanctions on Russia" Italian MEP says
Member of European Parliament Matteo Salvini arrived in Simferopol, Crimea on Monday for a series of talks with Crimean leader Sergei Aksyonov on EU sanctions against Russia.
Salvini, who confirmed on Monday that Italy alone has lost €2 billion ($2.54 billion) in the agricultural sector as a result of sanctions against Russia, added he does "not want" sanctions against Russia, and is "ready to work" with Russia to resolve the impact of sanctions.
