UK: He's lovin it! Farage shares a McFlurry with Carswell
UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage jointed Tory defector Douglas Carswell for an ice cream during his visit to boost UKIP votes in the Clacton-on-Sea by election, Thursday.
After meeting and greeting locals outside of a McDonalds in the British coastal town, Farage told the press he was happy to be in there and that UKIP has very strong chances of growing in votes.
If Carswell wins the vote, UKIP will have its first elected member at the House of Commons. After his defection, the MP candidate immediately demanded the by-election following the growing popularity of UKIP in his constituency.
