Spain: "Our fight will continue!" Republicans decry police brutality in Madrid
Hundreds of republican protesters rallied on Madrid's Sol Square at around 1900 local time (1700 GMT) on Sunday. The protest was called by the group 'Coordinadora 25s' to denounce violent arrests which occurred at a 'Surround the Congress' rally in Sol Square on Saturday.
During Saturday's republican rally three people were arrested and 12 injured, including one who was seriously hurt and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
The protest concluded peacefully, while people addressing the crowd encouraged people to continue their campaign to abolish the monarchy.
