      Children of Donetsk arrived at the Donbass Opera House on Sunday to see the first performance since the start of the Ukrainian war; an operatic adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.

      Despite ongoing shelling of the east Ukrainian city, hundreds of audience members gathered to see the show.

      Some of the opera house company's props were destroyed after a storage warehouse near the airport was burned down during fighting.
