Russia: Bodies cleared from highway after sinkhole kills 6 *GRAPHIC*
Dead bodies were cleared from a highway near Simferopol, Crimea on Sunday after a giant sinkhole in the middle of the road led to the death of six people.
The road on Nikolaev highway suddenly collapsed, creating a crater which has a depth of 6 meters and a width of 8 meters at around 3:30 local time. A car carrying eight people fell into the sinkhole shortly after. Six of the passengers were killed and two remain in intensive care.
Emergency units were on site, taking a closer look at the sinkhole and the wreck, but it appears that poor construction caused the road to collapse. Nikolaev highway is currently blocked off for drivers.
