Russia: This poor kitty survived a BULLET to the head
A stray Siberian cat that became a celebrity online in Russia when it was shot in the head at the start of September was on the road to recovery in Chelyabinsk, Thursday.
Kiryusha, as the feline came to be known, was saved when a passer-by found him on the street and took him to a veterinarian. At the clinic Kiryusha was X-rayed and received two operations to remove a ‘foreign body’ from his skull. It is not known what kind of projectile pierced the cat's head.
Vets at the clinic urged people to respect all animals, including strays.
