
Ukraine: Battle-torn Donetsk welcomes Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrival
The third Russian humanitarian aid convoy for eastern Ukraine arrived in the city of Donetsk, Saturday, from the Matveev Kurgen checkpoint in the Rostov region. The cargo was unloaded by Donetsk citizens and will remain in storage until distributed throughout the area.
Consisting of around 200 trucks, the convoy consists of 2,000 tonnes of cereal, canned food, generators, medicine, warm clothes and bottled water.
