
Serbia: 'Belgrade-Moscow trade boomed in 2014' Russian Deputy FM says
Russian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Aleksei Meshkov, stressed the importance of bilateral relations and trade between Russia and Serbia - whose mutual trade increased has increased by 17 percent since 2013 - in Belgrade on Wednesday. Meshkov, whose comments came at the start of a two-day conference called "Great War and Beginning of New World," said he had come to Serbia to discuss the current political crisis in Europe.
The conference was attended by historians and politicians from around the world including India, Finland, Germany and Switzerland.
During the visit, Meshkov and other Russian guests will lay flowers and unveil a monument dedicated to Russian soldiers who died during WWI.
