Ukraine: Poroshenko promises peace as protests sweep Kiev
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko laid flowers to a memorial sign on the wall of the building of the Ukraine's National Union of Journalists in Kiev on Tuesday to commemorate the 14th anniversary since the death of the opposition journalist Georgiy Gongadze.
After laying a wreath, Poroshenko said to press that he is "not going the same way" as those people in Ukraine who "want to take weapons in their hands and go killing". He promised that there will be peace in his country as it's pleading for it.
