      Ukraine: Lugansk children commemorate victims in 'Day of the Town' festival

      People gathered to mark the ‘Day of the Town’ and to commemorate those who have died during fighting between Kiev and anti-Kiev forces in central Lugansk on Sunday. Dubbed 'the City of Childhood,' the event was held in central Lugansk and featured a show performed by children.

      Lugansk is one of the most war-ravaged areas in the whole country and has been severely damaged in months of fighting and shelling by government forces.
