Michael Cramer, Chair of EP Committee on Transport, gave a statement on the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 report in Brussels on Tuesday. According to Cramer, the crash was the result of an "attack", and that "the plane was shot", but it is "not clear who is responsible".

He added that the intelligence services of the Russian Federation and the United States were likely to have more information on the crash than they have been providing to the public.
