
Ukraine: Bridge blown up outside Mariupol
A bridge adjacent to the village of Pavlopol was blown up at around 06:29 EEST (03:29 GMT) on Sunday morning. Residents heard an explosion coming from the bridge, which crosses a concrete canal section of the Kalmius river.
Although vehicle traffic cannot pass, the channel can still be crossed by foot. The next nearest bridge is around 13 km (8 miles) away in Chelyuskintsev.
It is not yet clear why the bridge was destroyed or who was responsible, local authorities are investigating.
