Spain: Anti-Kiev protest hits Barcelona, calls for end to "fascism"
Around 20 protesters gathered in Barcelona’s Placa de Catalunya, Saturday, to protest against Kiev's military offensive and the death of civilians in Eastern Ukraine. Protesters held placards reading “Save Donbass people”, “Europe, say no to fascism” and “Stop civil war in Ukraine”.
The United Nations estimate that around 2,600 people have been killed in Eastern Ukraine since Kiev launched its military campaign in the country's east in April. A ceasefire agreement was brokered on Friday between Donbass and Ukraine officials.
