
Russia: Meet FIRST Russian woman in space for 20 years!
The soon-to-be first Russian woman in space for 20 years, Elena Serova, held a press conference at the astronaut training centre in Star City, near Moscow on Friday.
The newly-certified astronaut will embark on her maiden voyage into space on October 26, where she is due to spend several months working on the International Space Station.
Serova, who began training in 2006, also received her astronaut's certificate during the press conference.
