Yemen: See thousands defy govt at mass Sana'a demo

Tens of thousands of Houthi Shia protesters rallied in Sana'a on Friday, in defiance of a government call to cease protesting.

Protesters reiterated the three main demands of the protest movement: the resignation of the current Yemeni government, reinstalment of full fuel subsidies, and the implementation of Yemen’s National Dialogue Conference.

A large pro-government rally was also held in Sana'a today, on the western side of the city.
