Estonia: "It's important for us to keep imposing costs on Russia" - Obama
US President Barack Obama said that he thinks it's "important for [the US] to continue to impose costs on Russia so long as it is violating principles of international law" during a visit to Tallinn on Wednesday to meet with his counterpart Toomas Ilves ahead of participating in the NATO summit in Wales September 4-5.
Obama also said that the effects of the sanctions on Russia's economy "may be overridden by politics inside of Russia as a consequence of state run propaganda."
Obama will also meet the leaders of Latvia and Lithuania during his visit to Estonia.
