
Ukraine: Group storms Antonov's Kiev factory- with police help
An unidentified group of around 16 people, headed by a man named Marenkov, a former employee of GP Antonov, stormed the aviation company's Kiev serial plant by breaking open the entrance gates, with the support of police authorities.
The group claim that they want the chief designer of the plant to step down.
The group made an attempt to take over the director's office and administrative offices, until employees of the company tried to stop the raids and clashes between themselves and police broke out.
The building is now blocked from one side by employees of the company and is controlled by police and interior troops on the other.
